Writing Poetry

There are 6 steps to creative composition i.e. Plan, Draft, Review, Edit Checklist, Present, Publish.

Plan.
Know what you want to write about. You don’t necessarily need a title, but you need an idea.
Have a bank of words or phrases you may wish to draw on.
Maybe use a diagram with ideas branching from a central theme.
Realise that you probably might not get right first time.
Decide who the poem is for; an individual or a specific group, or maybe just for yourself.
